Our goal is to bring some sunshine into the lives of those who need some light in their lives. We visit facilities
(or individuals) in almost any setting. We interact with people from all walks of life.
The horses are comfortable with all different kinds of people and are not bothered by equipment or noise. They
move easily in small areas and are very well-behaved. They are not pushy but can be quite affectionate if encouraged.
They will be quiet around a shy person and interact readily with an eager person. They are good with children and adults
alike. They have been exposed to hospital equipment and assistive devices. They are in training as service animals
as well as already being certified as therapy animals. They will walk along with a wheelchair (attached to the chair,
or not).
The Royal Sunbeams will visit individuals in their homes and persons in care facilities either individually
or in small groups. We sometimes go to the city parks just to visit with people enjoying the park and munch on some
grass.
The horses are "Bucket-Trained" and can also come with their "Bun Bags" so that there are no messy situations to deal
with. Usually the horses visit when they are least likely to need to eliminate any waste. If a manure spill happens -
we have our own carpet cleaning machine and our cleanup procedure is quite sanitary and satisfactory. We also provide
manure to gardeners any time at no charge!
